| Only 2 H-44 "Flying Bananas" were purchased by the RCAF from their manufacturer, Vertol, in 1960. However, the Vertol H-21Bs in service were converted to H-44Bs along with the original 2 H-44As and all were commonly referred to as "Vertols". |
