427, located in Petawawa, Ontario, was the last unit in the Canadian Forces to fly the
CH-135 Twin Huey. They were retired in 1997 - Ironically, I was also on the flight of the
last huey on its way to Mountain View for storage prior to sale. I have more pictures somewhere around here, I'll dig up some of them and post them for all of you to peruse and use as you want. 427 Squadron is the Aviation Support resource for CANSOFCOM. |
