Sikorsky in 1979. The aircraft was
designed to take off as a helicopter, and lift from its wings would unload the main rotor which would be stopped & locked to act as another airfoil in high speed flight. A set for FS containing fixed wing and helicopter models By Klaus D. Werr
An attempt to increase the practical top speed of the helicopter. Start with the helo model, and switch to the fixed wing and back.

TRAINERS

r_head.gif (34819 bytes)

The Rotorhead Trainer Here's the most gentle trainer I could design. It may not look like much (it's not supposed to), but it's the perfect first helo to learn on. By Klaus D. Werr This trainer is very resistant to dynamic roll-over. Tends to slide on bad landings so you can pull collective and try again.
